Cleaning Instructions

  1. Remove the filter.

  2. Spray with a water hose and nozzle.

  3. Use maximum pressure focused in a tight stream.

  4. Always spray the clean side first (backwash).

  5. Use a mild dishwashing liquid or Filter Clean to remove grease and nicotine.

  6. Rinse thoroughly.

  7. Allow filter to drain until drip free.

  8. Reinstall filter.

  9. Repeat cleaning process every 30 days.
WARNING: Do not use spray coating designed to make filters more efficient, nor should it be sprayed with deodorizers or disinfectants. These products will impair your filters performance and void the warranty. Also, do not use the LifeTime Filter in conjunction with any other filter in the same system.
